Community Shares of Texas (CSTX) is a collaboration of non-profits organizations with a focus on Social Justice. CSTX is a federation who partners with government entities and pivate businesses to offer employees opportunities to support the causes that they care about through workplace philanthropy.

Providing Choice
Community Shares uses constant innovation and quality improvement to offer the best services to its customers, the donor! We plan fun donor events and recognition programs that focus on delivering a rewarding experience to those who choose to give. CSTX stipulates that any workplace charity campaign they participate in provides the employee the opportunity to designate a payroll contribution to one or more of the eligible non-profit organizations.  CSTX offers more than 25 different Social Justice Organizations as a choice.  It is our belief that the more participating federations and charities in a given campaign, the larger the participation by employees.

Our Supporters Are Our Customers
  • Making a contribution will be easy and fulfilling.  We are transparent, fair, equitable and efficient in the use of contributions received from supporters.
  • We build relationships with supporters and connect them with the causes they care about.
  • Payroll and recurring contributions, as well as one-time contributions using credit and debit cards, are the many ways you can support our causes.  New technology is constantly being tested and updated to make contributing simple and easy.
  • Supporting CSTX and our member affiliates promote a sense of community and collaboration among social justice nonprofits.

Empowering Employees
CSTX empowers employees through workplace giving campaigns by collaborating with government entities and private businesses to customize a workplace charity campaign with a wide variety of choices. Our member affiliates join with other non-profits that are addressing the challenges facing our Texas communities. They are social justice organizations who benefit from workplace charity campaigns.  Not only do they benefit from the donations they receive but they also learn how to market themselves, engage in diversity management and team building, etc.. Employees of of any workplace charity campaign are exposed to the issues and participation opportunities available in their communities.

CSTX Mission:
Connecting Texans with the Social Justice organizations they care about through workplace giving programs and other philanthropic initiatives. We do this to mobilize and empower average citizens as philanthropists and community activists to act as catalysts in transforming their vision of the community into reality.

CSTX Guiding Principles
Our priority is connecting Texans with a diverse portfolio of statewide social justice agencies that advocate, educate and provide a voice to the voiceless.
